The E7 error means one or more ink tanks on your HP Smart Tank printer have run out of ink. Unlike cartridge-based printers the Smart Tank uses refillable ink tanks that you top up with ink bottles. Open the front door and refill the empty tank using the corresponding HP ink bottle.
